Thanks to the help of Lars Trieloff this week, I've been able to prepare
Maven artifacts for upload to the Maven2 repository. The Java JARs are
actually taken from our approved release distributions instead of
rebuilding them. Only the javadocs and sources come from the repective
release branches.
