URISpecification.getURL() cannot handle URIs like "url('(foo)bar')". It will
extract "(foo" only. 

The problem can be fixed by replacing

href = href.substring(4, href.indexOf(")")).trim();

with

href = href.substring(4, href.lastIndexOf(")")).trim();
