Could it be that the printer or print queue is defaulting to legal paper? If acroread is generating a generic PS file then it may not be specifying a paper tray and just accepting the default. -----Original Message----- From: Wabei [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, June 14, 2001 4:11 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Printing on legal paper instead of letter Hello listers, I have been trying to figure out this problem and have given up after trying out several things. Problem. I have an xsl stylesheet, where I am specifying my page height, lengths, extents etc, in cm. I create a pdf file from an xml file using fop, and then convert the pdf file into ps using acroread (this is all on a unix platform). When I send this file to the printer it prints on legal instead of letter. I have tried changing my spec to mm, and also changed to inches, and nothing works. This is what I have for my page lenght in the different measurements in the xsl stylesheet. 27.9cm 279mm 11in (for inches) Any direction will be greatly appreciated.
