Considering the nature of your work, I personally think it merits a place in FOP CVS. Perhaps a new top-level directory called "design", with directories for source, docs, etc. I am thinking that the docs/design directory is best suited for high-level stuff only, while working material (UML diagrams, ArgoUML projects, notes etc) is better off in another spot. So your stuff could also go in this new directory.
This is a high-level change to the directory structure, so I am not going to go ahead and do it willy-nilly. Perhaps some other opinions and thoughts are in order?
