Jörg, Sorry to start a new thread for this, but I read your reply in the archives ( as of today I subsribed myself to also receive the messages; before I was only subscribed to fop-dev-digest ).
So, to answer your question: No, I did not really need to use the HEAD code, but was just trying to help Jay Chiu. Glen added new Batik Extension Element Mappings to help him out, and notified us last week that we could download these from the CVS snapshots... Maybe the intention was to somehow integrate the SVG-related sources into the MAIN code (?) If so, I would certainly like to know whether that is possible (seems a bit awkward to me with a lot of these classes being shuffled around). Greetz, Andreas
