Yes, I read this section. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing any change by setting
rendering to quality or text-rendering to bitmap.

Okay, but even if the new behaviour is correct: how to fix this to get the
same behaviour of the old FOP? Spreading fo:inline alignment-adjust=central
all over the
