I confirm the issue in Windows (tested with fop_1.0). Up to jdk1.7.0_21 the
output in Windows has good resolution. With jdk1.7.0_25 and jdk1.7.0_40 the
above exception is thrown. In Mac OS X and Linux (tested with fop_1.1 and
trunk) there is no exception thrown, but the output has poor resolution no
matter what jdk version is used.
