Re: ApacheCon EU 2008 coming up in April - who's there?

2008-01-18 Thread Vincent Hennebert
I'll certainly try to attend the conference, I had a good time last
year. Although I can’t guarantee anything yet :-\
Do you know if there will be any discount for committers this year?

Vincent

I've already booked my hotel. It would be really good to meet up again

BTW, Christian and I will be at OpenExpo (http://www.openexpo.ch,
12./13. March 2008) in Berne, Switzerland presenting FOP. Free tickets
available on the website. There will also be a short presentation on FOP.

Hi Andreas,

Anyone here going to Amsterdam (or: 'staying there' would be more
 fitting for Simon) in May?

Yes I should be going there, just waiting for the special registration
code providing a discount for Apache committers.

I can make it only on the opening day, since that is a legal holiday
over here, so I have no other obligations interfering with my being
present there this time, as was the case the previous editions.
I had some leave planned last October, to attend the Cocoon GetTogether,
but was ultimately forced to cancel. :(
Fortunately, the 01/05 holiday recurs every year, and cannot be cancelled.

I'd love to finally meet some of you guys in the flesh over there.

I would also be glad to meet you!

Cheers,
Vincent

Wasn't planning on going, but since it's in my backyard, so to speak,
I might just be tempted to go have a look there.

Cheers,

Andreas

Same here, although I already know quite a few. But it's still good to
see everyone again.

I plan to be there, unless foreign travel brings me elsewhere in that
time period.

That sounds good. As a future session proposal, it might be good to
work in some sort of 'how to work FOP into your project...

I can't get a proposal ready for the conference in Dublin, but perhaps I
could try one for the next conference. I could do something like How to
Get Started with FOP or Solving Real Business Problems with FOP. Trouble is,
I can't find any mention of an upcoming conference. Anyone know when that
might be?

Thanks.
