Me too. Commons math used to use discovery for getting an
implementation class for root solvers, but they abandoned
the approach because they thought the added dependency wont
outweight the benefits.
But they do have a Service class!

Just had. I must say that I don't get it from a 5 minute glance at it.
I don't understand how exactly this stuff should be used and what
exactly the benefits would be, though I'm sure there are some benefits -
otherwise they wouldn't have bothered to write this thing, right?
