Okay, so fo:table is not appropriate. Its not possible to set columns for
just one block? If you need a column layout for just part of a page, you set
span=all on a block in a page that has a column layout

This is just a guess, but it could be that your images are not big enough.
In my experience, (and I'm pretty much a newbie!), FOP didn't care at all
about width=* and height=* in my xsl-fo. Instead, it just makes the
image as wide as the table-cell. Try making your image 1cm by 25.9cm and

I have updated the fop lib from 0.20.2 release to 0.20.4 and now I have the
following problem:
[Fatal Error]: The prefix xlink for attribute xlink:href is not bound.
The xsl and xml file are the same used before ( in the previouse releasa )
while the svg is created by the new batik lib
