If you use xercesImpl.jar from Xerces-2.5.0 (or better, I use 2.6.2) and
Xalan-J version 2.5.1 (or later, I use 2.6.0) you can execute XALAN with a
command like (one line!):
java -cp %LOCALCLASSPATH% -Djava.endorsed.dirs=where_everXalanAndXercesAre

I have one more question , this is not related to Barcode4J.
I downloaded the latest FOP version which is 0.20.5 for Barcode4j, The latest
version is not able to read my fontmetrics files defined in my configuration file.
The old version of FOP works fine.
I read
We are having problem loading PDF generated using FOP into
QuarkXPress 6.0. The first step Getting PDF into a layout is ok, the problem arise
when we try to export it as PDF or print it. The program will just freeze or
crash. We have no problem using PDF generated from iText or distiller.
