Can you clarify what you mean by align text vertically? The purpose of
reference-orientation is to rotate text by 90, 180, etc. If you want
text rotation you will have to use SVG I'm afraid. However, if you mean
something else please elaborate

Chris

line break at long string - overlap the following table cell

2003-06-25 Thread Zmitko, Jan
Hello,

I´ve an table with with 7 seven columns. In one column are sometimes very
long strings. If there is a space betwenn the words, the line-break works
well. But if there is an String that have no spaces and is longer as the
width of the column (cell) so these string goes to the next cell. Is there a
possibility to force an linebreak at the last position of the column.

Hello Jan,

you can solve your problem by setting an
space-after=your_line_height-attribute
on the block inside the empty cell. Then the border is displayed correctly.

greez,

That's exactly serializing, you know. Not to a file, but serializing
anyway. I didn't want to suggest that this will eat up a lot of time, I
just wanted to point out a factor in the whole equation.

On 10.03.2003 08:42:42 Jan Zmitko wrote:
thank you for the Answer. Regarding your question, no I dont serialize the

I
don´t think, that the reason is here. About the half time is spent in FOP,
and
I dont know if I can optimize here something. See the attached píece of

Hello,

how can I optimize the Performance in FOP. I´m using the 0.20.5 version. I
have measured the time of generating PDF with the tool Profiler of Borland.
It´s very interesting to see how many time the classes/componets of FOP
require to generate a PDF. I´ll attached the issue.

Can me anybody help or give some tipps how to generate my Stylesheet to
optimize the workflow. The different Stylesheet I use, are attached to this
mail, too.

Thanks to all and have a nice weekend.

Problem with SVG / FOP 0.20.5 / IBM Visual Age 4.0

2003-02-28 Thread Zmitko, Jan
Hello together,

I try to dissolving my Problem since two days and hope everyone can help my.

- I embed a SVG as follows:

fo:external-graphic
src=file:F:/Projekt/GM3/02_Agenturportal/10_AAA_Team\WP/Entwicklung/FOP/ima
ges/dreba_logo_vektor.svg

The Path is right, because other graphics (jpg) are shown.

- I have this Problem only in Visual Age. I have a copy of my Repository in
Eclipse and here I have no Problems. The FOP Version is the same.

In Visual Age I get following Exception:

XSL:
