Only the region-body region gets blue background color.

Now i try to do a simple thing, just setting the background

No, you cant set background color on the entire page. But you can set it on
region-*. So in your case, as well as setting background color on region-body

Well, don't use page margins then. If you have content in

Hi all,
I'm trying to place some text on a white background inside a table-cell with a

The implementation of fo:inline is grossly incomplete. It is basically
the same as for fo:wrapper, i.e. setting background color, borders,
padding
Table cell background color bleeds through thin borders.
Does anyone have a workaround, besides thicker borders?
Thanks,

Hi,
The background color is not being displayed when I
include the background-color attribute in fo:inline.
It works fine for fo:block. Is this supported by FOP
0.20.2. If not, is there a way about?
Thank you,
Ramesh

The background-color property of fo:inline is not yet
implemented as of FOP
I want to have a background color in a cell of my table.
I used the background-color attribute this way:
fo:table-row
fo:table-cell number-columns-spanned=2 border-bottom=0.5mm solid
black background-color=lightgrey
I thought that when you define your
fo:region-body in your fo:simple-page-master (in the
fo:layout-master-set) you could define a background-color attribute...
but unfortunately, it doesnt work :o/ Maybe it's not yet implemented
?

I'm pretty sure you can't at this stage. FOP accepts it in the
fo:region-body without errors but doesn't do anything about it.
I used a table cell with a height attribute and put the color in that.
Everything else went inside that cell.
