It's specific to the input XML and the output XSL-FO required. Get your XSL-FO right first then make a XSLT file to convert the XML into your expected output. Look at docs\examples\markers\ in your fop directory for an xml/xsl pair to see how this works. Are there any tools that convert, for example, a simple excel, word or other formats to a Fo format or to a xsl/fo format? You can save an Excel file as an XML-file.
