AW: Keeps. Orphans, and Widows

2002-02-14 Thread S. Jayaraman
Hi Paul

There are a couple of FO verbs for widows and orphans. Pl. see the attached
link.

http://www.w3.org/Style/XSL/TestSuite/contrib/FOP/widowsorphans.xml

Having said that, I must confess, that it does not work entirely for me. I
was wanting to communicate this problem too. However, I need to make a
proper extract of my FO file for that, which I will in a couple of days. But
you can see the stuff in this link.. Pl. do informe me, if this worked for
you.

Rgds
Jay

Hello.

I've been using Fop for a couple of weeks now for my Uni assignments.

I was wondering if anyone can suggest a (working) way to deal with orphans
and
windows. I keep getting the last lines of paragrpahs on the next page etc.

I have tried all the possible methods of keep-together
keep-together.within-page and keep with next/previous, none work yet.

If you have any suggestions I'd love to here from you. In the meantime I
have
had to break a cardanil rule of XML and put break format lines in the code
source document.

Paul
