Now it works. The problem was that my printer was not the default printer. When I compare the AWT rendering with my former PCL rendering, I am far away from my "1 second in all".
While I had times between 2 and 3 seconds with PCL , I have now times between 11 and 18 seconds with AWT. How can I reach my "1 second" goal?
