Thanx Michail No problem, I can only need the other keeps that you mention. The negative thing is that if I create an fo with the tables, then the tables will show up in my rtf and html that I derive from the fo. With my default doc type of pdf, its no problem. If what i say is true, then I will have to implement rather messy conditionals based on which output file-type I am targeting. -- Eric Smith - currently xalan and fop on linux
