Hi,
I'm pretty new to katello, Foreman and Puppet.
I did a fresh install of Katello 3.2, Foreman 1.13 and Puppet 4.x, the
installation did run correctly without error. I've configured all the
necessary setting and also a new Puppet environment to be able to create
some new managed host.

Hi,
I'm trying to use ansible with foreman but when tying to execute an ansible
playbook I get the following error:

"Failed to connect to the host via ssh: write: Broken pipe\r\n", "unreachable":

I have some question about running an ansible playbook from the Foreman Web

- Is the playbook run from the smart-proxy?
- As which user is the playbook executed ? as foreman-proxy? root?
Thanks for any feedback..

Hi all,
I'm pretty new to Katello and Foreman and since I've updated pulp to the
latest version I'm not able to use any function/feature of it,
Katello/foreman throws always the following error:
There was an issue with the backend service pulp: 500 Internal Server Error

Hi,
What kind of host you're deploying Windows / Linux / other? You have to
use the appropriate provisioning template which includes the installation
of puppet agent. For example using kickstart template to deploy
redhat/centos linux includes the installation of puppet agent.

Hi all,
Using foreman 1.15 with katello 3.4 with latest updates.
I'm able to create Host Collections and they contain host but when trying
to use an action on a collection just nothing happens.
Any body else having the same problem?
How could I debug that problem?
Thanks for any help...
Hi all,
I'm running:
- foreman . 1.15.2
- katello: 3.4.2
- foreman_ansible: 1.4.5
As found in the release note for foreman_ansible 1.4.1 there should be a
verbosity level setting in the ansible tab of the foreman setting, in my
setup it is just missing

the proxy
and the user is foreman-proxy.
