At present, when the cursor stays at ruler position x, the counter in status bar
shows n+1. Thus if I want to tab - tab - tab to start writing at column 40, I
have to consider column 41 in the status bar. Or if I am at column 2, the status
bar says 3.

When I open PSPad, I want that it either open again the last document(s) I
worked on it (i.e. the actual behaviour, nothing new here), or if PSPad was
closed with all documents closed, then to open with no document opened at all
(only a gray workspace).
Is there an option for this already ?
At present, when moving the edit cursor to the left, it goes further past the
last character. What setting should be modified for the edit cursor to consider
the line feed character and go to the start of the next line instead ?

I forgot: version 4.5.2 (2240).
In there was a similar error with the first dialog, the one where the
search string can be typed in, but that one has been corrected.
