I agree, there were lot of reports in the past. But in 5.0.4 I got only one
report as I remember.

This functionality is already there.
You can call is manually (Ctrl+J) or let PSPad call it after some delay -
Setting is in the program settingfs / Editor 2

Yes, I've been reporting it repeatedly, for many years, over many versions...

I had to quit using PsPad at my last job, because it would inject this
corruption into files, at sites that I wasn't even working on - and then they
would get committed to Git repository, and when I tried to generate a pull
request, it would fail because of garbage characters in the file!!

Another difficulty of duplicating this issue, is that it is *much* more common
when I have many files open simultaneously in PsPad... but when I'm on the job,
it is *quite* common for me to have 10 or 15 files open simultaneously...

It is very sad...

Autocomplete [73814]

Hi!

Have you ever thought of an auto-complete feature? i.e. offering sets of words,
(depending on the programming language or even from an individual dictionary)
after having entered maybe the first two letters of the word, to complete by
clicking on the word from the list. Ideally, variable names already used in the
text could be dynamically added to the list of words.

Do you think that would be very difficult to do?

I am testing, playing with systray now and I am not able to simulate it.
Do you restore PSpad clicking on systray or clicking on PSPad icon or?
Do you open any other file before restore?
Are files local or on some share? If from share, ensure that Store from local
drives option isn't checked in the Program settings / Files and dirs 

Is there any stape by step to simulate it?

Hello Jan, 
i still have the problem with the restore from systray.
Open 3 Files, and set Pspad into Systray. 
restore from Systray only one Tab is restored.
