Note: Upcoming this error, all settings regarding to the skin in then PsPad.ini, and the 'special settings' are erased, and set back to the default settings. -- PSPad freeware editor https://www.pspad.com

Sorry, i didn't see your answer. I decided to start from scratch in case the problem was caused by and old file of mine so i took "pspad503en.zip" and put "pspad504b511.zip" in it. Then i applied PSPad dark scheme and i have grey on white... So not very good. I tried something else and it is

Stanfard (internal) highlighters can't be deleted, they can be deactivated only - uncheck ceckbox before highlighters you don't want to use in the highlighter list -- PSPad freeware editor https://www.pspad.com
