PHP syntax highlighter problem [41035]

Say I have this code: $this->xml = ''."\n"; echo($this->xml); My syntax coloring gets all messed up because the ?> within the string is mistaken for a PHP end tag. In the example above, the code '."\n"; echo($this->xml); would appear as plain text. Is there any way to get around this? Thanks!

I did try latest version - same story. It doesn't work. :( However I found a cludge in Russian section of the forum. They say if you select everything in Windows international settings to be Russian - it will work. But sorry, I can't do that. However, many people would want to work with russia

Ja jsem kdysi zkousel pouzivat cvs (subversion neznam), ale proste by se mi libilo, kdyby podobne funkce byly nejak jednoduse zabudovane i v editoru (kdyz uz je tam i diff..) Pokud mozno abych o tom vubec nevedel a kdyz bych to potreboval tak by mi to vratilo verzi z historie nebo rozdil. :) Viceuz

I can report that this problem still exists when accessing a Win2000 server using Remote Desktop. I'm running verion 4.5.3 (2255) and I have had the same problem for several builds now. It doesn't seem to happen when I'm accessing other versions of the OS. The problem does seem to be limited to
