Still happening in build 647.
On tab switching it seems, although this time i did more things that just switch
the tab, was working on the other script and then came back.

Please don't send exception reports to forum!!! Send it to support mail.

Your problem is corrupted PSPad.INI file. It can happen in the past but it has
incfluence of the 647 and newer.

Send me PSpad.INI to mail, I can check it, fix it and send you it back, if you
don't have older backup

Attribute is initial state only. You can any file lock manually to prevent
accidental modification.
Again, state of toolbutton with 'Lock' icon is pressed or not? Or menu File /
Read only?

If you enabled save file state options, PSPad remembers this settings. 

And oposite, if file has R/O attribute, you can unlock it manually in PSpad and
save it. PSpad will remove R/O attribute, save file and set R/O attribute back.

Now I wanted to change the language from german to english, because there is a
new page labelled editor Part 2 in the menu though it is editor part 3, which
displayed the chech text that I don't understand at all. Not even google
translate was helpful, so I hoped to find a translation in the englich version,
that I might understand, selected english, clicked ok and puff - exception

Frequent crashes in newest version [76031]

I recently installed the newest developers version 5.0.7 (647),
the program raises exceptions all the time, sometimes it crashes completely.
There is also another really unwanted change: Since I installed this new
version, matching parenthes are not highlighted anymore. The last crash happened
when I just wanted to check the highlighting colours in the program
configuration.
Here's the last exception protocol:

Exception description:
The latest version of PSPad crashes extremely often, in different situations.
I just wanted to change the colour of parentheses, Upon closing the dialog, the
exception appeared.

It happended to me just after installing the latest version. I am not sure,
though, if these strange characters were already in the file before.
It was an ini-file, and the corresponding program just ignores such lines, so I 
can't say for sure how long they have alresdy been there.

It may be an issue that only happens when editing several files side by side.
The reason I think this is the case is because this inserted text contained,
embedded in the garbage, some short segments of text that obviously came from
another file that I often edit in parallel.

Another possibility, why paste isn't available ir file open or set as
Read/Only.
You see it in title and youcan change it by clicking on the "lock" button on
toolbar or in the menu file

You can, but shortcut must be assigned.
Are yiu sure you didn't clear up short cut assigning in the program settings /
keymap?
On the same place you can set the default shortcut settings.

Line wraping works. Wrap position depends of right edge (vertical line on the
right site) or window width.
Look into settings in Program settings / Editor 2
unncheck option Wrap with right edge, if you want to wrap with winfow width

Some users disable right edge line or set the position to zero or somewhere
behind
