You're right, it's the slash char. When I use like Ctrl+Shift+W it works
correctly. I prefer to use the slash char like in many IDE's and editors (toggle
line comment). Thanks.

Changed shortcut for 'Add/Remove Comment' does not work.

Default the shortcut in the key map for 'Add/Remove Comment' is assigned to
'Ctrl+Shift+A'.
I want to replace this with 'Ctrl+/' like in Delphi and Lazarus. If I change
this in Settings > Key Map it works. When closing PSPad, I can see it is
correctly changed in 'KeyMap.INI':
aComment=Ctrl+/

But if I restart PSPad, the shortcut Ctrl+/ does not work; I have to assign it
again in Settings to activate the shortcut.

Hi, in dark mode (IDE style: Windows 10 Office Dark2) the background of the
Toolbar is now white. In build 790 this was correctly dark. In build 812 it's
not correct (white). See image/link:

Hi, could you bring theming of the IDE (dark mode) back to the most recent
(beta) version? Maybe with the addition as "experimental" (or hidden and only be
set in ini-file). In version 5.0.6 it was not perfect but it was doable. I know
the color scheme can be set to dark, but that looks really bad in combination
with the light/classic IDE colors. Thanks!

Request for horizontal scrollbar in log-window [76317]

Hi Jan, please add a horizontal scrollbar in the log-window. I get very long
lines in the log-window (errors/warnings when compiling) and I cannot see the
end of the lines.

Editor panel flickering since 4.5.7 [62010]

Today I tried version 4.5.7 and 4.5.8. In both version the editor panel is
flickering when moving the cursor with the arrow-keys. The complete editor panel
including line numbers and bookmarks. It's quit annoying. I've tested it on 3
different computers.

In version 4.5.6 build 2427 the panel was not flickering. Can you please fix
this Jan? PSPad is great, it's my daily code editor. Thanks!

In the roadmap of Delphi by Embarcadero, they're working on Project X: Compiling
native Delphi code (Object Pascal) for Windows, Linux and MacOS X. Wait another
year and then hopefully... :)

Well, I've tested it on Vista and XP, and the error is there on both OS'ses.
Example: say your screen is 1280x1024 pix and the taskbar is 60 pix heigh. Set
the PSPad window to the position (top left) x=200, y=3 and give it a height of
955. Now you have 3 pix rest room from the top of your screen and 6 pix between
the bottom of PSPad and the taskbar. So it's a little smaller then the total
available height (screen height minus taskbar height).
In PSPad select "save main window position", close it and start it again. Now
the top of the window is correct (y=3) but the bottom is "up" to about twice the
taskbar-height.

The previous version of PSPad worked correctly on this.

I think it's a bug in 4.5.4. It worked correctly in 4.5.3.

I never have PSPad maximized, but as a window about half the width of the screen
and the full height of the screen (top to taskbar). When in this position, I
select menu "Settings" > "Save main window position". Close PSPad and start it
again. Now the height of PSPad is smaller than the height it was saved with.

This bug is only there when you save the window position when the height of
PSPad is the maximum height available (top screen to taskbar (taskbar on the
bottom of the screen)).
