I can confirm problem with Lucida Console, this font is painted by editor component with bigger spaces between chars (I don't know why). But I can't confirm it with Inconsolata. I downloaded and installed Inconsolata regular. I prefer modern fonts like Consolas instead of the old Lucida console or Courier New.
