Hi Hale,
May be the cable that was connected to port A was
slightly loose on the Host connector side. When you
did the swapping of cables on the drive sides the
second time some how the connection on the
cable connected to port A was better.

not, it should also be deleted

overlap and _not_ queuing. Where is queuing for ATAPI documented?

The ATAPI queueing method using DSC for 'immediate' commands is still used
for ATAPI tape. I don't know about optical ATAPI.

Remember folks: Obsolete and removed only means that no further work is going
to be done on these commands. Not that they can no longer be used (i.e. CHS...
Its obsolete, but all the desktop HDDs still support it -:)
