The logical predecessor of Fossil was CVSTrac
(http://www.cvstrac.org/) which was a wiki and
I only discovered Fossil about 3 months ago, but I'm already very
comfortable using it and have switched all my projects to it. I came
from SVN and haven't looked back once.
