Yes, it does fix the problem. However, as Christian points out here: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=531864#44, that may not be the best way to address this issue. He goes on to suggest additional steps to root cause the error. I'm in the process of doing that now. So
