Hi Duncan, Can you try following command fo_nomos_license_list --user fossy --password fossy -u XX I think you should not put single quote around user id ,password. G'day Valerie, There seems to be a disconnect between the 2.6.1 release as per: fossology@lists.fossology.org And the branches available at github :P https://github.com/fossology/fossology/tree/fossology-2.6.0 Seems to be followed by https://github.com/fossology/fossology/tree/fossology-2.6.2 And thus I'm not sure what's actually in 2.6.1 :( Perhaps someone with real world knowledge could advise your best next steps. We tend to build from source and live on the bleeding edge... My initial reaction may be an upgrade to 2.6.2 but a downgrade to 2.6.0 might be another option ;) I'll file a ticket regarding the 2.6.1 binary vs source mismatch though. There is at least one known issue with 2.6.2 that is fixed with a patch of a single php file. Our next release is due in a matter of weeks and I'll make sure the cli tools get a thorough workout ;) Paul... Hi Duncan, I am not sure about error where user ,password is directly given in command. Can you try following method. Since you are running under 'fossy' group. Create .fossology.rc in /home/fossy/ .fossology.rc should contain following user=fossy password=fossy Then run the command as follows fo_nomos_license_list -u 17 Above should work.
