I'm gabe, a prospective GSoCer, and I just found/read through the last month
of this list. When I first read about Sugar, this was exactly the kind of
thing I had hoped was happening--in particular the API quiz/math problem
collection.

Yes, Sugar on a Stick definitely has its advantages and should be deployed
for student access and testing grounds for new developments. Individual
student Sugar Sticks is a great option. I wouldn't argue one over the
other. Any use of either for access,
