The rightward arrow is Unicode U+2192. The first thing you need to do is choose a font that that character. At least in Windows 7, Arial, Courier New, and Times New Roman all have it. You can use Windows' (not FrameMaker's) Character Map utility's Advanced View to check other fonts. If

That's interesting, because I've got Frame 10 running right now, and CharacterMap.exe is NOT a running process for me. Examining maker.ini shows some settings for it, but none seem to control when it starts. Is it definitely not starting until you start Frame 10, or is it running before you start
