Hi Ed, This may have been it! I had unchecked that system/document font box, but never expected that I would have to keep doing it. We'll have to see if it lasts the day or requires constant re-unchecking. The latest PDF looks exactly like the earlier print version and current screen view.

When you change to the non-PDF printer you will get a message saying that the text may reflow. But the thing to do when you want to print to the printer is just print to PDF and then send your PDF to the printer from Acrobat. That way you won't get any surprises. Craig -Original
