The SetPrint plug-in was only necessary with older versions of FrameMaker -- 
6.x and earlier, if I recall correctly -- which used whatever was the current 
Windows printer as its default printer. The problem with that approach was that 
even if you set the FrameMaker printer to "Adobe PDF" (or whatever name Adobe 
was using at the moment, because they changed the designation a few times in 
that era), the next time you launched Frame the printer would be set back to 
your current Windows selection (usually a physical printer). 

The FrameMaker team eventually got it right and gave FrameMaker its own default 
printer selection that was "sticky" and completely independent of the Windows 
printer selection, thus eliminating the need for the Sundorne plug-in.

And, there is a FrameMaker plug-in that can automate this while using 
FrameMaker - very easy to install and not worry about this specific issue.
