Hey all,Ironically we are just prolonging the agony about this - can we all agree to have different opinions about this situation and just move on? This list is one of the few where antagonism is not the norm and that is too valuable to ruin. Thanks!Sent from Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

C2,    There's a RemoveExtraWhiteSpacesOnXMLImport setting in maker.ini.  It is initially set to On. When it is On, when FM reads an XML document, it condenses a sequence of spaces and newlines into a single space. It assumes that an element that is declared to be EMPTY in XML does not

I agree. There was nothing wrong at all with Stefan's reply. He was trying to explain the reasons for the spam, how it occurred, and what Adobe is planning in order to remedy it. There was no "rapping of knuckles" at all, IMO. This is a symptom of the age we now live in: people are on a hair

I have to admit I am "baffled" as to how Carol got that impression from Stephan's email. I am offended that Carol has called out Stephan publicly. This whole request should have happened privately. But I am staying on this list because it is too valuable to be to ask to be removed because

Hi Carol, I did not, in any way, want to rap on Tammy's knuckles, and I'm ashamed that one could read this out my mail. Also, I'm very sad to hear that you have decided to be no longer an Adobe Partner. However, we fully respect your decision, and I have initiated the process to remove your

Stephan, I would like to ask you to remove my entry entirely. Although this list isn't the appropriate place to ask this, for some reason, I've taken offense at your replies to this thread. I know you didn't mean them as such, but when I read your reply to Tammy, I felt like you were rapping

Thank you, Lynne. The contract requires CGM. I only found Larson software that will edit in native CGM format and I read that the latest version Illustrator can export CGM format. I do not have either of these. Another small issue I'm having is with xref elements and following text. After the

Oooo! I like the back command. I shall add it. Thank you! Yes, I edited cmds.cfg to disable the rotate table cell text shortcut. I haven't been able to think of a better sequence, but it's not like I use it often enough to worry about a shortcut. The table row format command, though, I use

You can always edit cmds.cfg and change the KeySequence to something else. It's located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker2015\fminit\configui depending on your FM version. For example, this adds Esc b,b for the Back command: > -- Shmuel Wolfson Technical Writer
