FM10 now has a BookWashMIF function/script - look on the Adobe forum for a fix
to the out-of-the-box script that comes with FM10.

Minimally, you need to open the template (or template book, if it's a
set of templates) and save as a FM10 file, and then
resave the book file as well.
What I'd recommend though is to perform a second step -- save each new
FM10 template file as a MIF file so remove any junk characters or

I have a template that is created in FM Version 7 and I am currently using FM
Version 10. The book building is failing due to version conflict.
Can I import tags from the existing FM Version 7 template to the FM Version 10
new template? OR Should re-create the whole template?
