Glad you solved the problem. Adobe PDF logical printers print books in a single step as the default behaviour... As far as I know, the only way to get it to print into separate files is to specify separate files on the FM print dialog box, to get around the default. So I'd suggest really looking

Hi, Lynn! Short answers to some of your questions: Yes, opening the docs in v9 is all you have to do and save as you normally do. However, you can only backsave to v8 from v9. We have run into this problem several times, having to find someone one on v8 to then backsave to v7. Hope that helps!

I'm on the same page as Richard on this, but with a couple of twists The most important one would be HOW the translation vendor was able to generate any kind of TOC. Part of the deal is usually that you receive working files back from the vendor, and it certainly sounds as if you didn't. So
