[Framers] ANN: Antiwebinar series
Hello Framers, I just posted a new video on my blog called "FrameMaker Autonumber Primer". If you are a new FrameMaker user, this video will give you a 20-minute overview of autonumbers and how they work. This is the first in my "antiwebinar" series. No forms to fill out, no fancy slides, just (mainly) unedited content that you can view whenever you want. You may hear some doors slamming in the background or my creaky chair, but I will get straight to the point so you can learn something. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. I don't think I've ever used footers to display column headers. However, I regularly use them to display other information that needs to appear on each page. For instance, a key to references used in the table (e.g., asterisk=no longer in production; or a key to define what the colors in each cell mean). What other purpose do table footers serve? In very large tables, the header / footer row is sometimes repeated in the middle as well, sometimes more than once. I don't know if any single-sourcing tools can do that.
