Better yet, FrameMaker 2019 ships 64-bit and 32-bit versions. The 32-bit
version is provided exactly for this reason (compatibility with legacy
plugins). Consider using the 32-bit instead of the 64-bit version of
FrameMaker 2019.

Yes, and I never thought of using this technique until you posted today, so

Suggestion (if it's not too late). Keep your older version of FrameMaker
installed on your machine. You can always save your 2019 file back to the
older version to use some of your 32-bit plugins. The only caveat is if you
use a feature new to 2019, it may get lost when you save it back.

We're upgrading (RSN) to FrameMaker 2019, 64-bit. The most recent version
of this lovely little plugin works up to FrameMaker 2017, but because it's
a 32-bit DLL file, the latest version of Frame gets all huffy and won't
work with it.
I don't have to do manually insert page or line breaks often,
Thank you very much.
I did not know that you could use conditions in the reference page.

Hi Caroline,
You need to duplicate the MTOC paragraphs on the MTOC Reference Page and
assign a different condition to each set (for example, Print and Web).
Remove the <$pagenum> building block from the Web paragraphs. When you hide
the Web condition and show the Print condition, you will get
Frame 2017
I have set up my system to create nice HTML 5 help, with the product look
and feel.
There is one thing I am stuck with, maybe someone has the answer
The PDF file has a mini-TOC for most of the chapters
It is in the form of
<$paranum> <$paratext> on page <$pagenum>
I set this up on
Editing the MIF file didn't work, for heaven only knows what reason.
Carole's solution does, with the amendment that it is, apparently (based on
doing this for a single file out of ... err, several) not necessary to
perform steps 8 and 9.
Tedious, but do-able. Thanks Carole.
