When I use the Insert > Equations functionality, the result is great for
PDFs and print. But when I File > Publish > HTML5, the equations are
treated as images. This is bad because the Publishing process puts borders
around them like it does around all of the images.
The only way I can think of
image borders to show up in our PDFs.
Can anyone suggest how to change the color of hotlinks? My cross-refs
display in the normal blue when they're published, but I'm told to make
them a different shade.

are much better than the alternative I was using. However, I noticed that
some fonts we use end up getting substituted, so the web version looks
visibly different from the PDF. I've been making changes on the Style
eview bitmap stored in the EPS file and PDF

Line drawings in Frame look much worse than they do when I save them to

Thanks to Laura and Rick, that worked. Except I found I had to grab
the floating book window near the left top corner of the book's title
bar. Grabbing the center or right part of the title bar would not
make the gray/blue border to display.

I use separate templates for chapters and appendices. Keeps things

Good advice. It worked adequately at 125% for one TOC level and at
175% for the next lower TOC level. I can live with doing it this way.

On the Paragraph/Character Catalog window there's a gear icon. When
clicked it shows a list of options, one of which is to Show Only Unused
Formats, another of which is Delete All Unused Formats. I find those
options to be the easiest way to clean up a document's catalogs.

When I Save As PDF in Frame, the resulting PDF bookmarks are all
lowercase. This is because we typed in them in Frame in lowercase, since
we wanted to display them in Small Caps. Is there a way to override this

I've had this problem after upgrading to Acrobat 8.0 -- distiller always
leaves the .tps file in the directory. Frequently, the distiller job
initiated from Frame isn't successful. Sometimes, I can double-click the
.tps file and distill that successfully. It's generally cleaning up the
.tpdf,
I searched a bit more in the Adobe forum. It looks like this is a known
issue that won't be resolved until it's changed in FrameMaker:
