This is the first solid solution that I've read about. The Adobe support
people don't seem to know about it. They had no solution when I tried to
install FM 9. I finally gave up, got a refund, and went back to FM 8.

It embarasses me to say, this, really it does, but … I looked in the Office
online help!!!
To enter a Unicode character, enter codeALT+X. For instance, to type €, the
Euro symbol, type 20ac then press ALT+X. It works in Office 2007; I don't
know about earlier versions.

I for one would appreciate understanding the 'proper' way to handle
numbering in Word. For me, it would help to fix garbaged numbers in
document I receive to convert to SGML - numbering is an issue because if
it's wrong, the structure requires a lot of manual

I've used FM to write training documents for my union. I can't do it as much as
I'd like to because, of course, not many folks have FM and they wouldn't be able
to maintain the docs. But the union has a group of tech writer members, so when
I write for them, I can use it.
