This example demonstrates that Frame needs to use a standard format. I
suggest EPUB using XHTML5 and CSS3. Adobe might be pleasantly surprised that
they could successfully compete against Microsoft Word. This leads to the
question of what are the capabilities of Frame 11 to import XML schemas

After reading the two interesting reviews of FrameMaker11, I still have two
questions.
1) Can I directly import elements from XML schemas, particularly, those
created in XSD (XML Schema Definition) language?
2) Can I format my XML with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)?
Thank you.

When FM10 and the previous versions save a file to HTML, the numbered
cross-references are replaced by see followed by the content of the
reference. Is there any way to avoid this extraneous text and keep the
number and perhaps its format? If it involves the insertion of codes, please
tell me

A reasonably simple improvement that would save the FrameMaker users time
effort, and aggravation is to include in Save as PDF the capacity to
transfer the FrameMaker documents Page Size including the height and width
and Column Layout settings to Acrobat. The default setting should be
automatic

Many thanks it works. Evidently my starting with an 8.5 x 11 and or a
legal/page left something when I changed format. I have been using
FrameMaker 10. I believe that I had done a change from letter to two columns
wide previously with FrameMaker 9 and previous versions

A choice of case when saving to HTML or xhtml would save effort because the
users of xhtml would no longer have to convert the file to lower case. EPUB
also uses lower case.

I upgraded to FrameMaker 10 and Acrobat X. It seems that Distiller has been
lost. How do I download and install distiller?
Thank you.
