Adding HTML Directly to Unstructured Frame Files

2010-04-22 Thread Angela Akridge
I use Frame to produce Online Help (Frame WebWorks). I want to use Frame
to produce my welcome page on the front-end rather than overwriting the
file on the back-end).

Do you know if there is a way to embed html in Frame?

 I already do that. :)

The problem is that the first page is a .fm, and frame doesn't do tables as
pretty as html can. My first page is here: help.panologic.com. I'd like to
know how to get the same results in frame, and I was thinking that if I
could just embed the html that would work.

Do you know how to embed html into a frame file?

AFAIK, assuming you are using WebWorks Help 5 output format, you have
 two easy options:

 a) Use a splash page image instead of an HTML file

 b) Configure WebWorks to render the first page of your help set
instead of a splash page image

The splash page displays in WW Help 5 format as the first page you see
if you double-click on the index page.

 Do either of those reasonable?

I'd like to do away with this custom page because the process is manual.
  If
I can actually embed the html in a frame file for WebWorks to process,
  then
  I same time. :)
