SV: OT: PDF question

2007-09-21 Thread Jacob Schäffer
The Grafikhuset Publi PDF software can do it even with EPS passthrough (incl.
placed PDF).

Set-up one Publi PDF queue with one Color Map and one Distiller JobOptions file
attached, and another queue with another Color Map/JobOptions set.

Actually, you can set-up as many purpose-specific queues as you like. Some can
be used to satisfy color conversion needs, others for stamping/watermarking
needs, and again others for plain PDF creation.

For details, pelase see http://www.grafikhuset.net/publipdf/

That does NOT necessarily work in many cases, especially EPS
passthrough (including placed PDF in FrameMaker)!

  Hi Miriam!

There are several ways to do it, but I think you get the
 best quality
 with:
Print to PDF. On the Adobe PDF printer Properties dialog
 box, on the
  Paper/Quality tab, select Black White.

  Cheers,
  Art

From a book file (Framemaker 8, Acrobat 8 Standard), I need to
generate a black and white print-
ready PDF. I've got graphics and blue (hyperlinks) text.
 I'd like the
blue text to come out as black.

I think I need to fiddle with the Acrobat joboptions file and
postscript. But I'm not sure how.

   Any ideas?

   Thanks much,
