Color *conversions* from one color space to another are not really
accurate, so you may want to do a color *remapping* instead, i.e. remap
given RGB colors to predefined CMYK values (usually a company's color).

Yes, Adobe Acrobat Pro (most versions I can think of) allows document
conversion from RGB to CMYK color space destination. In fact there are
multiple options available, including conversion to grayscale.

The crashing problem I am having seems to be caused by trying to create CMYK
PDFs. One question: if I create a PDF with RGB, is there a way to convert it
to CMYK in the resulting PDF? Thanks in advance.
