I, like you, leave a trailing space. In fact, if I have an anchor - table or
frame - hanging on the end of a para, I generally put an em space on either
side of it so it's out

exercise. Each extra space is an extra push with your thumb. Unfortunately most

new line and both pilchrows take the character formatting of the
first character in the following line.
