I, like you, leave a trailing space. In fact, if I have an anchor - table or
frame - hanging on the end of a para, I generally put an em space on either
side of it so it's out

new line and both pilchrows take the character formatting of the
first character in the following line.
Regrettably I cannot check this in FM 8 as it won't allow me to open
