Hi Lynn, If you still have the Word file, save it as a .docx if it already isn't one. Then in Windows Explorer change the extension to .zip. Open the WordDoc.zip in Windows Explorer (right-click Open). All the embedded graphics will be preserved as stand-alone graphic files in the word/media

Lynn, A few years ago, I had a plug-in that does what you're needing. It would go through an entire FM file and extract all the graphics into a folder and replace them with linked graphics. The last time I used it was in FM 7.2, though, and I am having a hard time finding it again. I have gone
