I'm not seeing it, but then, I'm a little crazed right now. =;-O
 
Is there a way to get dotted lines for the inside borders of a table?

On the Table Designer Ruling tab, you should Dotted as one of the ruling 
options. Select it for all the column and body row rulings, and something solid 
for all the outside rulings. 

If you don't like the dot pattern, open the Custom Ruling and Shading dialog, 
select Dotted, and click Edit Ruling Style. Either modify the existing Dotted 
or create a new style by changing the name.

Hmm, learn something new every day.

But, I'm not getting anything that really looks dotted in print. It looks
dotted on screen in FM, but prints as light gray. May do the job, but not
quite dotted.

I did see the post about editing the MIF, but I'm not undertaking that at
this late stage.
