Hi, did anyone notice if this change of the registry key affects the behavior of the numeric key pad for other use? i.e. does the normal ALT sequence for ASCII characters still work? I noticed no change. The alt keypad keys still work normally-- hold down the alt key, type the four digit

Geoffrey, The first method described here (How to enter Unicode characters in Microsoft Windows) http://www.fileformat.info/tip/microsoft/enter_unicode.htm does work for me in FM8. You probably need to set the registry key EnableHexNumpad as described. If you don't know your unicode (hex) values
