Sounds suspiciously like an issue in Documentum, not FM, IMHO. Have you checked
out the Adobe FM CMS forum (http://forums.adobe.com/community/framemaker/cms)?
Maybe someone currently using it with FM11 can offer suggestions.

Subject: Frame 11 and Documentum

Hi everyone,

Frame 10 worked great with Documentum, but since upgrading to 11, I've run into
some issues. I wonder if anyone has come up with any work arounds or ideas.

First, I can't upload a document. I get an error stating that "Create"
operation failed for object id=null. My workaround right now is to down-save
the document to Frame 10 and upload it via Frame 10. If I don't down-save it to
Frame 10, it is not recognized a FrameMaker file by either Frame 10 or 11.

The second issue involves adding a file I uploaded in Frame 10 to a Frame 11
book. This worked just fine when I was the only person working on the book, but
when someone else checks it out, the FM files point to my machine, not the
files downloaded from FrameMaker. I have not tested this, but it seems like my
workaround is to Upload and add files using Frame 10. This involves down-saving
book files to Frame 10 as well.

We've built our workflow around the integration with Documentum and it seems
like it is broken in 11. We're using the suite, including creating Multiscreen
HTML in Robohelp, so going back to 10 is a tough option to swallow.
