FM9.0p237 on Windows 7 and I get the same result. If I click outside the table
(not in the title, not in the body of it) and try to
import, it works fine.
The process I followed was to launch FM, then file new document portrait.
File Save As to my desktop as _DELETEME.fm and
then inserted a
Followed your directions (3 times in an unstructured doc from different
templates) and can't get it to happen on W7.
Tried it with both the default titled Format A and untitled.
What other add-ins are on your system?
Any scripts related to tables or new documents?

I'm unable to reproduce the bug on FM9p250 Win7. What settings are you using on
the Import Formats dialog? Or does it matter what settings you use?
